Sporty Chic — Day 14

Flight attendant serving alcohol from serving cart. 1968-1970 winter uniform.

Thanks for all your great “traveling with children” suggestions.  I am so impressed by the amount of people that enthusiastically suggested that I drink or do some kind of drug during the long plane flight.  After all, wind up toys and puzzles only last so long and having a passed out Mommy not only encourages children to practice their survival skills, but to use their imaginations.  Children of alcoholics are very good at “whispering and tip-toe games” and sober moms certainly don’t want their children falling behind in this category, so why not try a nice contained place like an airplane to practice this character building skill?  I don’t know if I actually will drink on the plane, but the fact that I’ve been given permission to by other moms really warms my heart.

I will post a complete list of all your wonderful suggestions tomorrow, but for now, it is quiz time. The prize?

American_Classic_Dress_Good

Bright Blue Maxi skirt from Ann Taylor Loft — Medium.  Perfect for summer.  So comfortable — even skirt haters like me will absolutely love this skirt.

The Question?

Where did the rule, “No white after Labor Day” come from?

You have all day with this one.  I’ll post the winner tomorrow.  Good luck!
